Julius Prenzel presented his paper “Sensory Evaluation of HDR Display Properties” at the Picture Coding Symposium (PCS) 2025, held in Aachen, Germany, from December 8–11, 2025.
The work, based on his Master’s thesis at TU Ilmenau, investigates the influence of key HDR display characteristics (peak luminance, black level, and transfer function) on human perception of HDR video. A sensory evaluation approach is used to assess multidimensional perceptual attributes. All collected data are publicly available.

Vom 10.12.-19.12.2025 haben 33 Studierende erfolgreich am Mindstormspraktikum an unserem Institut teilgenommen.
