At the 33rd ACM International Conference on Multimedia 2025 (ACM MM'25) in Dublin, Ireland, Felix Immohr presented the collaborative paper "ICS-MR: Interactive Conversation Scenarios for Assessment of Mixed Reality Communication" with accompanying data set by Felix Immohr, Gareth Rendle, Annika Neidhardt, Anton Benjamin Lammert, Bernd Froehlich and Alexander Raake.
The dataset contains three conversation scenarios for evaluating communication quality and behaviour in mixed reality (MR), traditional telemeeting systems and in reference contexts, such as face-to-face communication. In addition to detailed descriptions of the conversation tasks, all materials required for implementing the scenarios in user studies in such systems are provided. Open-source Unity implementations of the scenarios are also provided, which support the direct use of the scenarios in distributed multi-user experiments.
