Participation in the International Workshop on Multimedia Signal Processing in Istanbul

From September 22 to 24, 2026, the 28th IEEE International Workshop on Multimedia Signal Processing (MMSP 2026) took place in Istanbul, Türkiye. 

Our institute was represented with two contributions presented as posters by Julius Prenzel and Dominik Mehlem. Julius Prenzel presented the paper “Impact of Encoding on Perceived Quality and Authenticity of GenAI Videos”, while Dominik Mehlem presented “Efficient Entropy Coding of Latent Space Coefficients for Point Cloud Geometry Compression using CABAC”. Additionally, Rakesh Rao Ramachandra Rao contributed as a co-author to the paper “Compression-Aware Quality Assessment of Low-Light Video Enhancement”, a collaboration with the University of Surrey.
